The arctic wolf's diet
While most wolves eat mostly big animals Arctic wolves eat mostly small animals. Some small animals that the Arctic wolf eats are arctic hares, lemming, ptarmigans, and waterfowls. Those animals are small which makes them easier to hunt. However they do eat big animals like caribou, seals, and muskoxen. Arctic wolves are carnivores which means they only eat meat. Arctic wolves can eat up to twenty pounds of meat.
